Fernando Valdés Bueno

Member of the Board of Directors of Nueva Pescanova SL and Chairman of the Strategy and Trade Committee

Fernando Valdés Bueno holds a Degree in Chemical Science from theUniversidad Complutense de Madrid and has completed the Senior Executive Program of Stanford University (USA), the Retail Management Program of the University of Southern California (USA) and the International Management Program of Rotterdam University (Netherlands).

He started his professional career in Unilever, where he worked from 1987 to 2005, holding various management positions until he became Director General of the Home & Personal Care division. In 2005 he joined Campofrío where he was the CEO of the Campofrío Food Group until 2015.

Since February 2016 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Nueva Pescanova and the chairman of the Strategy and Trade Committee. He is also a member of the Boards of Directors of Deoleo, Fruselva and the Spanish Food and Drink Federation (FIAB).

He was the president of the Spanish Advertising Association (AEA) and the Spanish Association of Advertising Self-Regulation and is currently the president of the OJD.
