The Nueva Pescanova Group has appointed Carlos López Jall as Group VP Finance and Administration

  • He brings more than 30 years of extensive experience in corporate advisory, mergers and acquisitions, alternative debt financing, capital markets and valuations.
  • He has spent his career in Spain, Germany and the UK at Deutsche Bank, Barclays Capital, Citigroup, Repsol and Bekafinance.
  • As part of the Executive Committee he will report to Ignacio González, CEO of the company.

Vigo, 14 March 2022 – The Nueva Pescanova Group has appointed Carlos López Jall as Group VP Finance and Administration, who will be part of the Executive Committee and report directly to the CEO of the company, Ignacio González.

López Jall has over 30 years of experience in the financial area, especially in the fields of corporate advisory, mergers and acquisitions, alternative debt financing, capital markets and valuations.

He has developed his career in Spain, Germany and the UK at Deutsche Bank, Barclays Capital, Citigroup, Repsol and Bekafinance. He founded Breda Corporate Finance and is a member of the Advisory Board of the communications consultancy Kreab and senior advisor of the fintech company NPL Markets. Carlos is an independent director of the Socimi Milepro managed by AZORA. Before joining the Nueva Pescanova Group, he held the position of Senior Advisor at BEKA Finance.

Carlos López Jall holds a degree in Business Administration and Finance from CUNEF University and has attended finance and investment programmes at Harvard University and New York University.
